What is an Individual Voluntary Arrangement?

Don't make any decision about filing for personal bankruptcy or being made personally bankruptcy by your creditors before you have spoken to one of our insolvency practioners.

An IVA is little known UK government legislation that could help write off a significant amount of your debt. This is done without borrowing more money and without taking on further loans or debt.

Our insolvency advice is free.

How a UK Individual Voluntary Arrangement could help you.

The UK Individual Voluntary Arrangement procedure.

Your debts need to amount to more than £15,000. Most people do not realise how much they owe until they talk to our insolvency practioners. An IVA could write off a large chunk of your debts, freeze the interest and charges on your loans and turn them into one affordable monthly payment based on your personal disposable monthly income.

It is not necessary to take out more debt consolidation loans to achieve this. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement is a government approved formal agreement between you and your creditors that writes off a lot of your debt enabling you to get your personal life back on track. Then at the end of 60 months, you are deemed to be debt free.

An Individual Voluntary Arrangement stops the bailiffs calling, stops harassing telephone calls, stops threatening letters and most importantly, stops persoanl bankruptcy. Why suffer when we could have the solution.

If your debts amount to less than £15,000, depending on your circumstances, a Debt Management Plan might be a better alternative. A DMP can lower your monthly loan repayments and freeze interest on your debt. However, if your debt burden is substantial, (over £15,000), an Individual Voluntary Arrangement may be the best solution.

You may not realise just how much you actually owe.

You don't have to be made bankrupt to become debt free.

Our team of sympathetic insolvency specialists handles all kinds of personal financial situations. It is likely we can help you.
